EDHS"TrueGreen"ThermalFluid-Viscosity vs.Temperature 

The viscosity of the True Green thermal fluid was measured at multiple temperatures ranging from -25F to 173 F at approximate 10 degree intervals.

 

Procedure:

The fluid was mixed vigorously then stirred to eliminate induced air.   The fluid was then transferred to a beaker and placed in a freezer set below -25 F.   After allowing to cool overnight, the fluid was removed from the freezer and placed in a Brookfield DV-1+Viscometer. Using the #4 spindle, the viscosity incentipoise(cP) was measured periodically at 50 RPM and at 100 RPM as the fluid warmed to room temperature. Then the fluid was placed in an oven set to 200 F.  After allowing time to heatup and gently mixing the fluid, using the #4 spindle the viscosity was again measured at 50 RPM and at 100 RPM as the fluid cooled to room temperature.
